What you’ll do:
- Serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers, providing day-to-day HR guidance across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Lead onboarding efforts to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization, reinforcing our culture and values from day one.
- Partner with hiring managers to drive full-cycle recruitment for leadership and non-leadership roles, from job posting through candidate selection and offer management.
- Provide consultative support to leaders on performance management, coaching, and employee engagement strategies.
- Manage and support employee relations issues with professionalism, confidentiality, and consistency in alignment with company policies and applicable laws.
- Contribute to the development, communication, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Analyze HR metrics related to turnover, engagement, training, and performance to inform recommendations and continuous improvement efforts.
- Facilitate training sessions, team communications, and small group discussions in support of HR initiatives and manager development.
- Support and track employee development efforts, including goal setting, talent reviews, and succession planning activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with payroll and benefits to ensure consistent and timely execution of HR processes.
- Actively participate in company culture initiatives and employee engagement strategies.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 5–7 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist role.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in HRIS (UKG a plus!) and applicant tracking systems (LinkedIn Recruiter and JazzHR a plus!)
- HRCI or SHRM certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to travel quarterly to dancker offices in NJ, PA and conferences, as needed.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to actively listen, present ideas clearly, and communicate with impact across all levels.
- Comfortable facilitating meetings, navigating tough conversations, and building positive rapport.
- Skilled in time management, prioritization, and working with confidentiality and trust.
