Overview:
dancker is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to support operations at our Edison, NJ facility, where we manage the delivery and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for a large healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have experience driving a 24’ straight truck, working in a warehouse environment, and operating a forklift. This role requires strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism, as it includes regular interaction with our client’s on-site teams across New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a 24’ straight truck to deliver PPE and related supplies to various client sites throughout New Jersey.
  • Represent Dancker professionally when interacting with client contacts on-site, ensuring clear, courteous, and timely communication.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring all deliveries are accurate, organized, and protected from damage.
  • Maintain delivery schedules and complete required documentation (e.g., delivery logs, inventory forms) accurately and on time.
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any issues to management.
  • Support warehouse operations, including receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and preparing materials for outbound delivery.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of delivery driving experience, preferably in a commercial or healthcare setting.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL not required but a plus.
  • Proven experience operating a 24’ straight truck.
  • Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
Work Environment:
  • Based out of Dancker’s Edison, NJ facility.
  • Frequent driving across New Jersey.
  • Regular exposure to warehouse and healthcare facility environments.
